No-go thread ring gauge made of premium gauge steel. Whitworth pipe thread, BS EN ISO 228.
Application:
A no-go thread ring gauge should be able to be screwed onto the workpiece thread by hand without excessive force, but no more than two threads. If it can be screwed further, the thread does not meet the required tolerances (= no-go). No-go thread ring gauges are marked red for identification.
A reference temperature of 20°C applies to workpieces and gauges.
