Description
The 3D universal probe is a very precise and versatile measuring device for milling and EDM machines (insulated probe insert).
It is clamped into the milling spindle or countersunk head and allows the spindle axis to be precisely positioned at the workpiece or fixture edges. This allows workpiece zero points to be set and length measurements to be performed quickly and easily.
The probing direction is arbitrary (X/Y/Z axis). The dial indicator always deflects in the same direction and indicates the distance between the spindle axis and the workpiece edge. As soon as the display reaches zero, the spindle axis is exactly at the workpiece edge.
Right away, without lengthy trial and error, without invoices, and without sign problems. This reduces overhead, increases productivity, and relieves the burden on employees.
